What is multitasking?

Multitasking, in a human context, is the practice of doing multiple things simultaneously, such as editing a document or responding to an email while attending a teleconference.

The concept of multitasking began in a computing context. Computer multitasking, similar to human multitasking, refers to performing multiple tasks at the same time. In a computer, multitasking refers to things like running more than one application simultaneously.

Current computers are designed for multitasking. For humans, however, multitasking has been decisively proven to be an ineffective way to work. Research going back to the 1980s has indicated repeatedly that performance suffers when people multitask.
"to do two things at once is to do neither." - Pubilius Syrus

Affect of multitasking

So, if doing the most important thing is the most important thing, why would you try to do anything else at the same time? It is a great question.
Multitasking is a lie.
It is a lie because nearly everyone accepts it as an effective thing to do. It's become so mainstream that people think it is something they should do, and do as often as possible. We not only hear talk about doing it but more than six million web pages offer answers on how to do it, and career websites list "multitasking" as a skill for employers to target and prospective hires to list as a strength.
Some have gone so far as to be proud of their supposed skill and have adopted them as a way of life. But it is a "way to lie," for the truth is multitasking is neither efficient nor effective. In the world of results, it will fail you every time.
"Multitasking is merely the opportunity to skrew up more than one thing" - Steve Uzzell.

The one thing

Try this out for more productivity in life. When you start doing only one thing at a time you start increasing your peak performance of the day. You cut down unimportant tasks at that time and start focusing on the one thing that matters the most, by which your future tasks will be easier or unimportant.
Think like this if you have to do only one thing you will gonna do that thing perfectly and with more focus by which your task will eventually get improved. Just like this you just need to do that one thing that has met priority.
Every time you get stuck multitasking just remember this will make it worse so try do to only one thing at a time.

Living in a dream.

Ever you catch yourself doing something and thinking another thing. That's the point where you start decreasing your productivity and multitasking. Now you're gonna think is thinking mean multitasking no not at all but if you think something different from doing the different thing that makes it multitasking.
So pay attention to your thoughts when you doing something you have to see and think only about that thing. Stop living in a dream and start doing things with your full potential.

Conclusion
After reading the whole blog you can understand this lie of multitasking which keeps you behind in life and stops you to achieve greater results in life. So make sure to stop doing this illogical thing. And focus only on one at a time. I can guarantee this will increase your productivity.

Self-Care Practices for Every Area of Your Life.

Self-Care Practices for Every Area of Your Life.

 Self-care

his article discusses some of the different types of self-care and why they are so important. It also covers some of the things that you can do to develop a self-care plan of your own
.

What is self-care?

Self-care is vital for building resilience toward those stresses in life that you can't eliminate. When you've taken steps to care for your mind and body, you'll be better equipped to live your best life.

Different Types of Self-Care

Self-care isn't just about finding ways to relax. It's about taking care of yourself mentally, physically, emotionally, socially, and spiritually. To care for your health and well-being, it is important to find a balance that allows you to address each of these areas. Sometimes you might need more self-care in one specific area to restore balance or find relief from a stressor in your life

Physical Self-Care

You need to take care of your body if you want it to run efficiently. Keep in mind that there's a strong connection between your body and your mind. When you're caring for your body, you'll think and feel better too.

Physical self-care includes how you're fueling your body, how much sleep you're getting, how much physical activity you are doing, and how well you're caring for your physical needs. Attending healthcare appointments, taking medication as prescribed, and managing your health are all part of good physical self-care.

Social Self-Care

Socialization is key to self-care. But, often, it's hard to make time for friends and it's easy to neglect your relationships when life gets busy.

Close connections are important to your well-being. The best way to cultivate and maintain close relationships is to put time and energy into building them. your relationships with others.

There isn't a certain number of hours you should devote to your friends or work on your relationships. Everyone has slightly different social needs. The key is to figure out what your social needs are and to build enough time in your schedule to create an optimal social life.

Mental Self-Care

The way you think and the things that you're filling your mind with greatly influence your psychological well-being.

Mental self-care includes doing things that keep your mind sharp, like puzzles, or learning about a subject that fascinates you. You might find reading books or watching movies that inspire you to fuel your mind.

Mental self-care also involves doing things that help you stay mentally healthy. Practicing self-compassion and acceptance, for example, helps you maintain a healthier inner dialogue.

Spiritual Self-Care

Research shows that a lifestyle includes religion or spirituality. is generally a healthier lifestyle.

Nurturing your spirit, however, doesn't have to involve religion. It can involve anything that helps you develop a deeper sense of meaning, understanding, or connection with the universe.

Whether you enjoy meditation, attending a religious service, or praying, spiritual self-care is important.

Emotional Self-Care

It's important to have healthy coping skills to deal with uncomfortable emotions, like anger, anxiety, and sadness. Emotional self-care may include activities that help you acknowledge and express your feelings regularly and safely.

Whether you talk to a partner or close friend about how you feel, or you set aside time for leisure activities that help you process your emotions, it's important to incorporate emotional self-care into your life.

Why Is Self-Care Important?

Having an effective self-care routine has been shown to have several important health benefits. Some of these include:

1. Reducing anxiety and depression.

2. Reducing stress and improving resilience.

3. Improving happiness.

4. Increasing energy.

5. Reducing burnout.

6. Stronger interpersonal relationships

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), self-care is important because it can help promote health, prevent disease, and help people better cope with illness.

Specific forms of self-care have also been linked to different health and wellness benefits, including a longer life. Exercise, finding a sense of purpose in life, and sleep have all been connected to an increased lifespan

conclusion

The demands of your daily life can dictate what type of self-care you might need the most. A self-care plan for a busy college student who feels mentally stimulated all the time and has a bustling social life might need to emphasize physical self-care. A retired person, on the other hand, may need to incorporate more social self-care into their schedule to make sure that their social needs are being met.

Self-care isn't a one size fits all strategy. Your self-care plan will need to be customized to your needs and what is currently going on in your life. You don't want to wait until you've reached your breaking point.

Feelings stuck in life

Feelings stuck in life

I feel stuck in life

If this is the point where you are standing. Then you are at the right place. I am gonna tell you some ways to overcome this situation.
If you go through this entirety then you are gonna change your state of life. And you will be like what happened to me? This blog will enable you to grow in life.
Fortunately, If you’re feeling unsettled or unfulfilled, there are endless ways to design a life that looks and feels authentic to you. Here are the things I recommend doing to start building the momentum you need to make your next move:

...[ Content ]...

  1. Why do you feel stuck?
  2. How to unstuck?
  3. What not to do when you feel stuck?

Common signs you may be feeling stuck:

  • Constant repetitive negative thoughts.
  • Inability to focus
  • Brain fog
  • Fatigue
  • Lack of motivation
  • Procrastination
  • Restlessness
  • Anxiety
  • Depression

Why do you feel stuck?

  1. You fear external judgment.
  2. You feel disconnected from your values.
  3. you think a change might mean losing something.
  4. You've lost hope for the future.
  5. You're overwhelmed or burned out.
  6. You're comparing yourself to others.

How to unstuck.

There are plenty of ways that you can help yourself get unstuck. Below are some approaches you can use to get out of your rut.

Identify what you truly want

Stuckness can be a vague, ambiguous feeling of something in life not being "right." When you notice these feelings, allow yourself some time to clarify what you want to be different. Frame these desires and hopes as what you do want to happen: "I want to maintain or increase my salary" rather than "I don't want to take a pay cut."

Ways to identify what you want:

  • Create a vision board. Get creative and create a visual representation of what matters to you and what you want in your life. This board can be as literal or abstract as you like – it's your vision– so have fun with it!
  • Determine what your values are. What's important to you? Do you value relationships and loyalty over grit and determination? Make a list of your top 10 values and look for any patterns.

Change your perspective

Remember that feeling "stuck" can be simply a mindset—albeit an oppressive one. But negative thoughts don't hold all the cards. With some self-awareness and conscious effort, you can change your inner voice. And your perspective to be more flexible.

Questions to change your perspective:

  • How else can I see this situation?
  • How will I feel about this situation in a week/three months or three years?
  • What would my eight-year-old self offer as advice?
  • What would 80-year-old me say?

Move your body

If you've ever finished the workday with a stiff neck and shoulders, you'll know that tension and stuckness can sit in the body. Exercise can get more positive chemicals running through you. And being outside and in nature do wonders for your well-being.

Ways to get moving:

  • Do a quick virtual yoga class. Some are even formatted to do at your desk (but we recommend taking a break if you can)
  • Go for a walk
  • Stretch your neck, shoulders, and arms

Set a date and park decisions until then

Give yourself space to clear your head, and set a date to re-evaluate your situation. Mark the date in your calendar, and allow yourself to focus on present issues until then. This practice gives you the chance to fully commit to what you're doing without the extra weight of questioning yourself and your future.

Take action to avoid "analysis paralysis"

Once you're clear on what you want, ask yourself, "What's the next smallest step I could take?" It's so easy to get entangled with the stuckness that you forget there are small steps that you could take to make progress.

How to beat procrastination:

Try the Pomodoro technique Commit to spending a short time, such as 25 minutes, working on a task uninterrupted. Since the first step is often the hardest, things feel more straightforward once you get going

What not to do when you feel stuck?

To reduce any extra stress and worry that can arise when feeling stuck in a rut, keep these in mind:
  1. Don't be hard on yourself.
  2. Try not to blame others.
  3. Don't focus on the stuck area as the only thing in your life.
  4. Don't doubt your ability to handle your decisions

Conclusion:-

The key to getting unstuck and back into the flow is using your mind, emotions, and body so that they work for you, not against you. The more we feed a thought, the stronger it becomes. So next time you feel stuck, remember your positive thoughts help you align with positive emotions. When you connect back to your internal compass, you’ll always feel more grounded in your external reality.

Bonus tips:-

Start new things:- when you do some new things you add confidence to your mind. Starting new tasks and starting from the beginning gives you a sense of accomplishment.

Go for a trip alone:- it gives a person a new perspective on the present problems or separates you from the current state of the mind.

If you are searching for this article then you genuinely wants to change your life for good reason. And this is a great thing a human can do to help his own self to grow higher. So let's start talking about this article's topic ..

..[[  Content  ]]..
  • Mentally grow
  • Physically grow
  • Detoxification
..Bonus tips (in the last)..
So let's begin ...

..[[  Mentally grow  ]]..

In this section we will talk about meditation and reading benefits and how to start them as a beginner.

..[  Meditation  ]..

Meditation is simpler (and harder) than most people think. Read these steps, make sure you’re somewhere where you can relax into this process, set a timer, and give it a shot:

1) Take a seat
Find place to sit that feels calm and quiet to you.

2) Set a time limit
If you’re just beginning, it can help to choose a short time, such as five or 10 minutes.

3) Notice your body
You can sit in a chair with your feet on the floor, you can sit loosely cross-legged, you can kneel—all are fine. Just make sure you are stable and in a position you can stay in for a while.

4) Feel your breath
Follow the sensation of your breath as it goes in and as it goes out.

5) Notice when your mind has wandered
Inevitably, your attention will leave the breath and wander to other places. When you get around to noticing that your mind has wandered—in a few seconds, a minute, five minutes—simply return your attention to the breath.

6) Be kind to your wandering mind
Don’t judge yourself or obsess over the content of the thoughts you find yourself lost in. Just come back.

7) Close with kindness
When you’re ready, gently lift your gaze (if your eyes are closed, open them). Take a moment and notice any sounds in the environment. Notice how your body feels right now. Notice your thoughts and emotions.

That’s it! That’s the practice

Here are five benefits of meditation.
  1. Understanding your pain.
  2. Lower your stress.
  3. Connect better with yourself.
  4. Improve focus.
Reduce brain clutter.

..[  Book reading  ]..

As a beginner you need to know the benefits of reading a book so you can gain interest in reading. This habit will leads you higher in your life .

Some benefits are .
  1. You gain knowledge of people who gathered knowledge from successful people in their fields .
  2. You understand the world better.
  3. You will improve yourself.
  4. You grow through reading.
You can help people around you (close people ❣️).

Now let's talk about how to start reading as a beginner.......
So let's imagine you asked me how you started reading . When I was beginner I started reading books which I like or something I want to learn specific then I chose book and start reading that's how this will help you as well to grow interest in reading. Hoping this will help you as well ALSO you don't need to read books for hours as beginner but you only need to read at least 10 min a day . Don't make reading a burden this way it's not gonna help so remember it and enjoy your books and learn from them 🤓 .

..[[  Physically grow  ]]..

Now we have another topic physical health. I'm not saying you build a massive body. I'm just saying you have to stay active by your brain as well as by your body.  Let assume you are a beginner in this  Always remember as beginner you have to start with small step to grow to that point where your teacher or coach is present. You don't need to take big steps you can make  there by small steps but multiple times .

..[  Exercise  ]..

I will suggest you that you only have to do is pull push and squats . Now don't make any assumption about me right now you are thinking that will this be enough for exercise . Let me explain
  • Push
You have to start with pushups . You can try different types of pushups which you can and  make sure to raise your strength by increasing difficulty of your pushup . This will help you to gain some core strength and biceps.

  • Pull
Pullup are difficult exercise so remember your strength then choose your pullup exercise there are many pullup exercises with different difficulty levels . And this one also increase your biceps and core strength.

  • Squats
In above exercises we talked about upper body so now let's do something for your legs . In this exercise you have to play with intensity (number of squats). Here you can also try different types of squats with different level of difficulty.

Benefits of exercise are.
  1. Improve your memory and brain function.
  2. Protect against many chronic diseases.
  3. Lower blood pressure and improve heart health.
  4. Improve your sleep quality.
  5. Reduce anxiety and depression.

..[  Rest  ]..

As meditation job is to relax your mind same job of rest is to your muscle to relax and help muscles to grow bigger . So don't miss this part for growth . Otherwise you will endup harming your body .

..[[  Detoxification  ]]..

I think this point is the major problem among our generation. We spend our majority of time in social media and get affected by fake people or so called cool peoples in social media . Or we just try to show-off to people and get affected by other's show-off . And another point is your friends ofcourse , your toxic friends who try manipulate in you in any way and think of their benefit only.

..[  Social Media  ]..

You have to minimise your use to reduce the side-effects. I know this will gonna be hard for you . My most effective way to deal with this problem is , you have to spend time on another things like reading or working on your hobby. And try to avoid screen-time as much as possible you can use alternative for mobile application for example you use note app for scheduling your day or anything so you can use a real notebook ETC...

..[  Toxic Friends  ]..

They are the one of big problem because as much time you spend time with people like them you start to feel dumb, losser, loss self-worth, self-esteem and more effect on mental health. So find them in your friend circle and try to make distance from them for better future and growth in life. They will gonna try to pull you down in everything.

..[[  Conclusion  ]]..

In this blog we discussed about physical health mental health and detoxification and how to deal with them how to start them and implement in you life and some benefits of the same topics. After you are done with above stuff then make sure to go through the below topics. <3....

Bonus tips :-
  • Engage in honest self reflection.
  • Increase you strength.
  • Work on your weakness too.
  • Give back to other.
How to 10x your focus .

How to 10x your focus .

 How to 10x your focus.

If you want to increase focus to enhance your life's productivity and tackle daiproblemslem with ease. Here we will go through some points which will help you for sure. They are gonna change your life forward.

Let's start.......

..[ content ].

  1. Everything matters equally.
  2. Multitasking.
  3. Declutter things in your mind.
  4. Take a short break.
  5. Keep practicing.

..[Everything matters equally ].

In our society, we were taught wrong and that everything matters equally but that's a big lie in our life and this affects our lives in many aspects. In every person's life, they have different things which matter most and something matters nothing but they do that.

To increase focus you have to list down the things that matter to you most. And eliminate things that don't matter to you. By decreasing things in your life you can increase your fto then the remaining things.

..[ Multitasking ].

People think if they start doing multiple things at a time they can increase their productivity. But there's a thing that happens to your brain when you try to multitask it scatters into many parts by focusing on multiple things at a time which leads to decreased focus.

It's a way of lie for the truth is multitasking is neither effective nor efficient. In the world of results, it will fail you every time. So always try to do a single thing at a time for max output.

" TO DO TWO THINGS AT ONCE IS TO DO NEITHER " - PUBLILIUS SYRUS

..[Declutter everything in your mind].

To stay focused on doing things you have to declutter your mind. You have to do mindfulness. You just need to stay calm and focus on breathing nothing more than that you just need to increase the time of meditation to increase focus.

By doing nothing your brain starts to focus more when you do your thing. This method can drastically change your focus on things you do.

..[ Taking a short break ].

Taking a break doesn't mean doing anything. You just have to take a break from things you do by listening to music or doing anything different from your schedule like working on your hobby ( crafting, writing, reading, singing, dancing, and many more ...)

    This will help you to:-

    1. Promote critical thinking.
    2. Boost confidence.
    3. And for personal growth.

    ..[ Keep practicing ].

Now you have to practice these steps which will help your brain to map out patterns by which you gain more control over your brain and increase focus. This will help you to build discipline in life and become one of the youth ur habits

    ) Bonus tips (:-

    1. 20-second rule - to overcome procrastination, according to this rule you have to take action towards your goals or anything you want to do to get things done.
    2. Start writing - to solve your daily life problems or anything you want to write. when you write your problem on paper your brain starts to process the same thing but from a different point of view and this leads to the solution most of the time.
